- Do you ship to ...?

We will ship anywhere else within our solar system upon receipt of cash payment. No exception. Sorry, Nigeria...

- I need my leotard next Monday. Can you?
Probably not.
Our only inventory consists of yards and yards of fabrics. All our garments are made to order, and it takes a minimum of 4 days and up to 10 before they can be cut, sewn, and shipped. Add to that the time your package spends in the good care of the postal system, and voilĂ , Monday is long gone.

- Can you ship FEDEX?
Sure. But it'll cost you.
In Canada, we'll do the imposible to get your package to you in time, and that means FEDEX if you are ready to pay for that service.
In the USA, we can ship FEDEX (or any courrier you select), but...:
1 - Your order is considered delivered the moment it is accepted at the FEDEX counter. We are not responsible for any delay beyond that.
2 - We will charge you whatever FEDEX charges us, plus a $15.00 documentation fee. This include Customs Forms and Declarations preparation (we will fax you a copy, since FEDEX will misplace the forms anyway). If you want to use your own FEDEX account, it's still 15$ for those Customs forms.
3 - As the importer of record, you will need to contact FEDEX and give them your SSN.
4 - "Next Day Delivery" is an urban legend. Your package will take two or three days to reach you.

- Can you cut a leotard with a "thong" back?
For certain styles, yes. And in adult sizes only, no exception.
For men's cut leotards, we do not recommend thong backs. Think "wardrobe malfunction"...

- Can you make leggings with stirrups?
You bet. It is an option for the regular leggings. It is not available for the leggings with a 1" band.
- Do you make your garments for men?
All our garments can be made specifically for men.
- Do you have a printed catalogue?
No.
We are strictly an Internet company.

- Shipping to the USA: Will I be assessed custom charges or customs brokerage charges?
We follow all the rules and guidelines of the U.S. Customs Service to avoid any tariffs and customs brokerage fees.
Now, we won't publish how we do it, because we'd hate to let our competitors in on how its done, but by following these quidelines, we make sure you incur no supplementary fees and tariffs when you purchase from leotards.ca.
- Do you offer rebates for groups or for large purchases?
Yes.
Rebates are available for large order purchases of 20 units or more of the same style garment.
Large orders are referred to the manufacture and handled directly from there.

- Currency: How do you determine the currency rate applied to purchases?
We accept payments in either Canadian or US dollars.
Consider however that, since all our suppliers are located in Canada, we first calculate our sale prices in $CAN. The US$ prices are then determined by applying a system-wide exchange rate.
The exchange rate applied is the exact same rate that we get from our credit card processor, no more and no less.
US residents who believe they can get a better rate from their credit card company may elect to use $CAN as their transaction currency.

- What is a "gusset"?
A gusset is a piece of fabric added for hygienic purposes to the crotch area of all our leotards, briefs and bikinis.
It comes standard on some garments, or as a free option for others.

- I don't see it on your website, but can you do a garment that would...
If you have specific ideas and can't find what you want in our catalog, by all means sent us an email! We get special requests on a regular basis, and respond as quickly as we can to your questions.
But... you must understand that, between idea and garment, there needs to be a pattern made by a professional pattern-maker. Unless you can supply your own patterns, this will be extremely costly.

- Is there anything you can't do?
Of course.
We do not make anything that requires a zipper.
We do stirrups, but no footies on leggings and unitards.
Gloves. We do not do gloves.
Hoods on unitards: no.
We used to do made-to-measure garments, but we don;t anymore on single-garment orders.
And when it comes to garments in kids sizes, we are very narrow-minded.

- I have a store and would like to carry some of your stuff. Can you sell to us wholesale, or perhaps tell us who your suppliers are?
No, and no.

- When you wear a leotard do you wear panties?
Actually, it's a matter of choice. But we do all our leotards with a optional gusset, for your comfort and hygiene. Tights that you wear under your leotard also have a gusset.
As a matter of fact, certain dance schools are very particular about this, and require that panties not be worn with your leotard.

- Is Madonna really a cousin of your sales manager?
Yep. 9th cousin, 7 generations removed.
- Can I buy some of your fabrics by the yard?
All our fabrics are available for sale by the meter. Large orders (over 40 meters) are handled directly by our manufacture.
- Can your leotards be used as a swim suit?
Of course! We suggest you stick with nylon/spandex fabrics if you are going to use your leotard as a swim suit.
Note that you should rinse your leotard in fresh water afetr swimming in a chlorinated water.
Also, consider a lining. Especially for pale colours.
